The Coffee County Intensive DUI Probation's mission is to divert offenders
from the Tennessee prison and County jail system by providing intensive
community based supervision and treatment services necessary to reduce
criminal behavior and create a safer community.
This program is for persons who have been arrested
more than one DUI offense within 5 years or BAC of
.20% or higher.
The purpose of Coffee County Intensive DUI Supervised
Probation is to extend the positive impact of the Coffee County Drug
Court in order to reduce DUI recidivism in Coffee County.
Intensive DUI Supervised Probation will avoid introducing DUI offenders
into the Tennessee prison system by providing intensive community based
supervision and treatment services necessary to reduce criminal behavior
and create a safer community.
Probationers of Coffee County Intensive DUI Probation
will be required to meet with a probation officer at least twice each
month,. It is the responsibility of the probationer to provide status
updates regarding: jail time, treatment, payment of fines and court
costs, as well as any and all requirements to successfully complete DUI
The following can result in a probation violation
warrant being issued:
Failure to complete treatment
Failure to pay fines and costs or restitution
Failure to report to probation officer
Failure to serve jail time
This is not a complete list, but an example of the
most common ways to violate probation. A terms and conditions of
probation sheet will be signed by both the probation officer and the
offender when Intensive DUI Supervised Probation is ordered by the
court. Any violation of the terms of probation is grounds for a
probation violation warrant being issued.
