Multiple DUI Offender Probation

The Coffee County Intensive DUI Probation's mission is to divert offenders from the Tennessee prison and County jail system by providing intensive community based supervision and treatment services necessary to reduce criminal behavior and create a safer community.

This program is for persons who have been arrested for

more than one DUI offense within 5 years or BAC of .20% or higher.

The purpose of Coffee County Intensive DUI Supervised Probation is to extend the positive impact of the Coffee County Drug Court in order to reduce DUI recidivism in Coffee County.  Intensive DUI Supervised Probation will avoid introducing DUI offenders into the Tennessee prison system by providing intensive community based supervision and treatment services necessary to reduce criminal behavior and create a safer community.

Probationers of Coffee County Intensive DUI Probation will be required to meet with a probation officer at least twice each month,. It is the responsibility of the probationer to provide status updates regarding: jail time, treatment, payment of fines and court costs, as well as any and all requirements to successfully complete DUI Probation.

The following can result in a probation violation warrant being issued:

  • New arrest

  • Failure to complete treatment

  • Failure to pay fines and costs or restitution

  • Failure to report to probation officer

  • Failure to serve jail time

This is not a complete list, but an example of the most common ways to violate probation. A terms and conditions of probation sheet will be signed by both the probation officer and the offender when Intensive DUI Supervised Probation is ordered by the court.  Any violation of the terms of probation is grounds for a probation violation warrant being issued.
